National and State Regulation
The Drilling Technical College is bound by the relevant Lower Saxony college laws. The college is also bound by the technical regulations for drilling and mining and is monitored in this respect by the State department for Mining, Energy and Geology. The Lower Saxony state education department has the major role in monitoring the College under its regulations for technical colleges.

General Training Content
The college aims to present the latest technical developments in drilling and production technology for crude oil and gas. In addition exercises and problem solving relevant to the work place are employed with the use of computer software. Modern simulation software and the use of actual technical components also feature. The presenters work closely together in teams and the College maintains a co-operative dialogue with all concerned parties. A quality programme based on QM-System ISO 9000 is currently in development.
